Nathalie Hirsig is an experienced professional in international cooperation and sustainable development, currently serving as the Deputy Head of International Cooperation & Sustainable Development at the Institut Fédéral de la Propriété Intellectuelle since January 2012. In this role, Nathalie Hirsig is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring international cooperation projects with a focus on budget management, stakeholder coordination, and capacity building in intellectual property. Previously, Nathalie Hirsig worked as a Project Coordinator at the same institute, as well as a freelance proofreader and translator at USG Übersetzungsservice AG. Nathalie Hirsig also gained valuable experience through internships at the International Labour Organization and translation work at NORRAG. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology, Spanish, and Journalism from Université de Neuchâtel, complemented by a CAS in International Cooperation - Leadership for Development from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
