Jinju Kim

Jinju Kim is a student at The Ohio State University, expected to graduate in May 2025, with a diverse background in research, leadership, and community outreach. Currently serving as a Student Research Assistant at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Jinju conducts tests on bone density and elasticity and analyzes CT scans related to dental implantation. As the Internal Vice President of BMES at Ohio State, responsibilities include overseeing mentorship programs and collaborating with other university chapters. Jinju has participated in community outreach as Outreach Co-Chair and has taken on multiple roles within iGEM, contributing to a project that earned a Bronze award at the 2023 competition in Paris. Previous experience includes library security, an internship on the oncology team at ABL Bio Inc., and a front-of-house position at Chick-fil-A Restaurants. Education culminated in a high school diploma from Lake Zurich High School in May 2021.
