Valeria Salas-Dietz

Valeria Salas-Dietz is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management and Business Analytics. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, Valeria manages coursework and grading for Analytics Consulting and conducts tutorial sessions for over 20 students. As a Smith Ambassador, Valeria presents and leads workshops for prospective students, while also mentoring incoming freshmen in various capacities, including as a Smith Start Ambassador and Smith Mentor. In the QUEST Honors Program, Valeria holds the position of Recruiting Lead, where strategic recruitment initiatives are developed and implemented. Additionally, Valeria is the Head of Digital Promotion for iGEM and the Treasurer, overseeing financial transactions and fundraising efforts. Valeria's experience includes a supply chain internship at PepsiCo, aimed at reducing product waste, and guest services roles at Topgolf and Lifetime Health & Fitness Center.
