Federico Valdez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in genetic services and operations management. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Operations at Igenomix since October 2019, Federico has held various leadership positions within the company, including Regional Director for Latin America and Director for Peru and Colombia. Prior to Igenomix, Federico worked as General Manager and Laboratory Director at Oncogenomics and Genomics Peru, as well as in a laboratory leadership role at Genetic Solutions. Early career experience includes a position as a Cytogenetics and FISH Analyst at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Federico is well-educated, having earned an online certificate in Genetic Testing and Sequencing Technologies from Harvard Medical School, a degree in Cytogenetics from UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a Bachelor's degree in General Biology from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
