Moataz Hussein

Moataz Hussein has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Moataz currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer at IGI Holding since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at ITWorx as the Legal Director and Data Protection Officer from January 2020 to June 2022, and as a Senior Legal Manager from March 2017 to January 2020. Moataz also held the position of Legal Manager at Travco Properties from March 2016 to February 2017, and at Qatari Diar from June 2013 to March 2016. Before that, they worked as a Senior Corporate Lawyer at Damac Properties from June 2010 to June 2013. Moataz began their career as an Attorney at Law at Nadoury & Nahas Law Offices from September 2009 to June 2010. Moataz also gained experience as a Development Specialist - LL.M Scholar at Indiana University from January 2008 to August 2009 and as a Lawyer at ART/Arab Radio & Television from July 2007 to January 2008.

Moataz Hussein completed their LL.M. Master of Laws in Business International Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they received their LL.B. Bachelor degree in Law from Alexandria University, Faculty of Law, English Department, from 2002 to 2006. Moataz also holds several certifications, including Data Protection Officer (DPO) Certification from the European Centre on Privacy and Cybersecurity, Principles and Techniques of Fundraising from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Academic International English Language Testing System IELTS 7.5 from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, and Legal English Terminology from Alexandria University, Faculty of Law. Additionally, they obtained their Egyptian Bar certification from the Egyptian Bar Association in 2007.
