Alaa Hantash

Alaa Hantash is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in treaty reinsurance. Currently serving as Senior Underwriter at IGI - International General Insurance Co. Ltd. since 2008, Alaa Hantash leads the underwriting process for a diverse portfolio of reinsurance treaties, focusing on risk evaluation, pricing, coverage terms, and contract negotiations. Prior roles at Arab Life & Accident Insurance Co. from February 2006 to July 2008 included positions as Reinsurance Officer, Underwriter, Deputy Underwriter, Assistant Underwriter Level 3, and Assistant Underwriter Level 2. Alaa Hantash holds a B.Sc. in Risk Management and Insurance from Hashemite University in Al-Zarqa, Jordan, completed in 2006, and a Tawjihi degree from Al-Hussain College.
