Rakan Hakouz

Rakan Hakouz is an experienced IT professional holding certifications in ITIL and COBIT. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager - PMO Regulatory at IGI - International General Insurance Co. Ltd. since August 2024, Rakan is focused on establishing a robust IT governance framework and ensuring compliance with key regulations such as DORA, GDPR, SOX, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards. Previous roles include IT Senior Internal Auditor and Governance & Quality Assurance Specialist at Capital Bank of Jordan, where Rakan established the Governance & Quality Assurance unit. Additional experience includes managing IT governance policies at Société Générale de Banque - Jordanie and effective QA/QC roles at various financial institutions and tech firms. Rakan holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the New York Institute of Technology, completed in 2010.
