Maureen Turkel has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Maureen began their career in 1999 at L'Oréal, where they held seven different roles, including Vice President, Promotional & Creative Development, MATRIX, Assistant Vice President, Promotional Purchasing, MATRIX, Senior Director, Promotional Purchasing, MATRIX, Director, Promotional Purchasing, MATRIX, Senior Manager, Promotional Purchasing, L'Oréal Professionel, and Manager, Promotional Purchasing, L'Oréal Professionel. In 2016, they joined Shiseido as Executive Director, Global Creative Operations, bareMinerals. Currently, Maureen is a Consultant at IGK Hair.

Maureen Turkel received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Michigan and graduated from Roslyn High School.
