Darren Maginnis

Darren Maginnis has over a decade of professional work experience. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Technical Supervisor at TeleTech, a Support Services Representative at Sykes Assistance Services, and a Data Entry Clerk at Alliance iCommunications Inc. In 2008, they were a Customer Service Representative at NuComm International. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Software Architect (Co-op) at Phoenix Interactive, a Software Developer at Quantica Trading, and a Software Developer at D2L. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Database Developer and Database Developer at Igloo Software, where they mentor junior team members, researches industry trends, designs and deploys data table structures, stored procedures, and queries, identifies inefficiencies in current databases, and develops, implements, and maintains change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.

Darren Maginnis attended Fanshawe College from 2010 to 2012 and obtained an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Programmer Analyst. Darren also completed online courses through Udemy.com in the field of Information Technology. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Microsoft (MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional) in 2016 and from the Canadian Red Cross (First Aid / CPR) in 2007.
