Dian Chen

Dian Chen has a wealth of experience in the chemical industry. Dian began their career in 2005 as a Research Scientist/Group Leader for Shanghai PharmaTech Co., Ltd. In 2011, they joined Celanese as a Global Marketing Development Manager. During their time at Celanese, they held various roles including Global Business Manager - UHMWPE, PPS, LCP, Business Development Manager, and Product Marketing Manager, UHMWPE Product Line, Engineered Materials. In 2019, they joined IGM Resins as Global Business Unit Director (Coating, Medical & 3D Printing) and Global Business Director - Energy Curing Resins, where they set and executed business strategy for the UV curing Resins and managed asset with full P&L accountability.

Dian Chen completed a General Management Program at The Wharton School from 2017 to 2018. Prior to this, they obtained a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2006 and 2011. Dian also holds a B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering and a M.S. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
