Global Lifecycle Marketing Lead at Ignition

Michael Hadjipourou has extensive work experience in marketing and sales roles. Michael began their career at Harpenden Lawn Tennis Club as a Tennis Coach, where they organized sessions and activities for junior players. Following this, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Golf Marketing Services Ltd, where they created contact lists for potential clients and conducted SEO activities. Michael then joined VioVet as a Marketing Assistant, where they managed logistics and processed invoices.

In 2016, Michael interned at HubSpot and assisted the marketing team with demand generation in the APAC region. Michael played a significant role in increasing marketing qualified leads through email by 250% in one month.

From 2017 to 2021, they joined Dext and held various roles, including Marketing Channel Manager, Global Campaign Team Lead, and Asia Pacific Campaign Manager. Michael was responsible for managing marketing campaigns, utilizing machine learning to boost productivity for small businesses and accountants worldwide.

In 2021, Michael joined Ignition as a Global Marketing Automation Manager and later became the Global Lifecycle Marketing Lead. Michael contributed to driving global marketing strategies and automation initiatives.

Most recently, they joined Storylane as an Ambassador in 2024.

Michael Hadjipourou attended Leeds Beckett University from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Sport Marketing with a focus on Marketing. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at St Georges VA School from 2005 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Presenting with Confidence" from the (NIDA) National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2023.
