Ashleigh Farquharson

Ashleigh Farquharson (nee Harris) is an experienced environmental professional with a diverse background in environmental management and consultancy. Currently serving as the Manager of Environmental Systems and Approvals at IGO Ltd since April 2023, Ashleigh has previously held the position of Environmental Superintendent at Western Areas Ltd since November 2019 and served as Corporate Environmental Advisor at Fortescue Metals Group from March 2018 to November 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Environmental Advisor and Environmental Advisor at Western Areas Ltd, as well as volunteer work with the Western Australian Department of Parks and Wildlife and King Edward Memorial Hospital. Ashleigh's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Biology from Curtin University of Technology, a Diploma in Frontline Management and Leadership from ETAS Group, and a short course in Environmental Protection Law from The University of Western Australia.
