Leandro Nishiyama is an experienced professional with a strong background in regulatory strategy and economic regulation in the sanitation and transport sectors. Currently serving as a Regulatory Strategy Manager at Iguá Saneamento since September 2020, Leandro specializes in the regulatory framework of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and manages the company's contractual obligations and regulatory KPIs. Previously, Leandro worked as a Consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank, supervising loans totaling approximately $467 million, and held roles at Odebrecht Transport, focusing on regulatory affairs and financial planning. Leandro's earlier experience includes contract management for significant projects such as the Alcântara Cyclone Space Launch Site and the Transnordestina Railroad.
