Jon Kurland

Jon Kurland has a diverse work experience in the legal and entertainment fields. Jon is currently the Executive Vice President of Business Affairs & Chief Entertainment Counsel at iHeartMedia since April 2023. Jon is also a Member at TechGC starting from May 2023. Kurland served as a Senior Corporate Counsel, and later as Corporate Counsel, at Amazon's Audible division from September 2017 to April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Media & Entertainment Attorney at Sloss Eckhouse LawCo and Carroll, Guido & Groffman, LLP. Kurland began their career as an Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP from August 2011 to July 2014, and as a Summer Associate at the same firm in 2010. Jon also gained experience with the United States Attorney's Office and the U.S. Department of State. Kurland has also taught as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism since September 2022.

Jon Kurland has a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School. Prior to their law degree, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at the University of Pennsylvania, where they majored in Political Science and graduated summa cum laude as a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
