Jerry Townsend

Jerry Townsend is an experienced operations and distribution leader with a strong background in management and continuous improvement. Currently serving as Hub Operations Manager at iHerb Inc. since 2016, Jerry previously held the role of Distribution Manager at Meritor from 2011 to 2016, where oversight of shipping and receiving functions in a large commercial aftermarket distribution center was a key responsibility. Jerry's experience also includes serving as a Plant Lean Expert at Meritor, where the introduction of Lean initiatives and process improvements was essential, and as a Training and Development Manager at Metro One Telecommunications, focusing on quality standards and employee training. Additionally, Jerry worked as Claims and Distribution Manager at Thomson Learning, managing reverse logistics operations and employee management for a sizable team. Jerry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University, obtained between 2010 and 2014.
