Elena Martin

Elena Martin currently serves as the President of the Asociación Española de Cirujanos after holding various leadership positions within the organization since November 2014. Concurrently, Elena is the Head of the General and Digestive Surgery Service at the Hospital Universitario de la Princesa, a role held since March 1995, and has also contributed as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since September 2000. In addition to these responsibilities, Elena is actively involved in organizations such as the International Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association and the Grupo Español de Tumores Neuroendocrinos. Elena's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an M.D. from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
