Kazeem Oladepo

Kazeem Oladepo has a strong background in the telecommunications industry. Kazeem began their career at Starcomms Plc as a Company Secretary/Director of Corporate Strategy. In this role, they were responsible for legal, regulatory, network and product roll-out management, as well as corporate strategy and M&A activities.

After leaving Starcomms Plc, Oladepo joined Main One Cable Company as the General Counsel/Company Secretary, where they served from 2009 to 2019. During this time, they provided legal and corporate governance expertise to the company.

In 2014, Oladepo took on the role of Regional Executive, West Africa, at Main One Cable Company. In this position, they had overall responsibility for corporate, commercial, operational, and business development functions in multiple jurisdictions, including Nigeria, Ghana, and Francophone West Africa.

Most recently, Oladepo joined IHS Towers as the Vice President and CEO of their subsidiary business, Global Independent Connect Limited (GICL). In this role, they oversee the deployment, commercialization, operations, and maintenance of fiber optic transmission networks, as well as other value-added services such as IoT and data centers.

Kazeem Oladepo completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from the University of Strathclyde between 2007 and 2009.
