Mathias Amuta

Mathias Amuta has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mathias is currently an Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at IHS Towers, where they are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, and providing financial recommendations to support decision-making. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at IHS Towers.

Mathias also has experience as a Non-Executive Director at OJIREHPRIME FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD, a Consultant at EY, and as a Freelance CFO, Financial Modeler, and Consultant. In their freelance role, Mathias provided financial planning and analysis to multiple companies and served as an outsourced CFO for SMEs.

Mathias has also held roles such as Head of Business Development at Dignity Finance and Investments Limited, Consultant Project Lead at Think Information Services Ltd, and Founder and MD/CEO of Think Microfinance Bank Ltd. Additionally, they worked as a Surveyors' Coordinator at eaga plc and as a FINCON at United Bank For Africa Plc.

Mathias Amuta holds an MSc degree in Computing from Northumbria University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Mathias also has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Benue State University, completed from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, Mathias has obtained certifications such as ACCA and has passed Level 1 of the CFA Program. Mathias is currently pursuing Level 2 of the CFA Program and has completed a course on Problem Solving with Excel from Pwc. Mathias has also received certification from the A. Stotz Academy in the Boot Camp Valuation Masterclass M1.
