Martin Edun

Martin Edun is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in public health and program management. Currently serving as the COVID Coordinator at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria since November 2021, Martin Edun is responsible for the coordination of the PEPFAR-funded COVID-19 vaccination program, advocating for state government support and integrating COVID-19 vaccination with Routine Immunization. Previously, Martin Edun held various positions at the same institute, including Senior Program Officer for Adult ART and State/Clinical Lead, where responsibilities included providing technical support for HIV/AIDS care, leading TB programs, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols. Martin Edun's prior roles encompass policy and management positions in other health organizations, alongside a strong educational background with a Master's in Public Health from KIT Royal Tropical Institute and a Diploma in Family Medicine from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
