May Thazin Aung is a Climate Finance Researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) since November 2021, with previous experience as a Research Fellow at the Stockholm Environment Institute from October 2015 to November 2021, and a Climate Policy Intern at The Nature Conservancy in 2015. Educational achievements include a Master's in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School (2014-2015) and a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies from Franklin & Marshall College (2008-2012).
