Simon Addison is a seasoned expert in climate action and natural resource management, currently serving as a Senior Economist at FAO since January 2025. As a Member of the IUCN Climate Crisis Commission since July 2024, Simon also holds positions as a Senior Associate and Principal Researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), where notable projects focus on climate risk governance and locally led climate action in low-income countries.
