Jitendra Mehta

Jitendra Mehta currently serves as the AVP of Credit Policy & Risk at IIFL Finance since December 2023. Prior to this role, Jitendra worked as a Senior Risk Manager at Poonawalla Fincorp, focusing on unsecured products from November 2022 to November 2023. At Bajaj Finserv from May 2018 to October 2022, Jitendra held the position of Senior Unit Manager Risk, responsible for portfolio risk management of pre-approved cross-sell personal loans, utilizing various data points for analysis. Earlier roles include Unit Manager Risk and Credit Manager, along with a summer internship in asset portfolio management at HDFC Bank in 2017. Jitendra holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the Institute of Management Development and Research in Pune, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce. Additionally, education includes HSC in Vocational Computer Science from Fergusson College.
