Sowmya Subramaniam

Sowmya Subramaniam serves as the Chairperson of the Finance and Accounting Area and the Chairperson for International Accreditation and Rankings at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where responsibilities include both teaching and administrative leadership since June 2017. Previous experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Ford Motor Company from October 2016 to May 2017 and as a Doctoral Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from July 2012 to September 2016, specializing in research areas such as the term structure of interest rates and credit risk analytics. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting and Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, an MBA in Finance from Anna University Chennai, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Meenakshi College for Women.
