Gita Nayyar

Ms Gita Nayyar is a senior finance professional with over 30 years of leadership experience in the UK and India with MNC banks and in the Venture Capital Industry. She has extensive cross-functional experience in Corporate banking, Investment banking, Wealth management, Fundraising, and Risk management.

Ms Nayyar is currently engaged as a Senior Advisor to the Fulcrum Ventures Ltd, a venture capital fund which invests primarily in pharmaceuticals, wellness and healthcare. She is also a very active and successful angel investor and is also a mentor to startups. Ms Nayyar is recognized for her expertise in investing and building early-stage companies and is often invited to lecture/share her perspective on the subject.

She also serves as an Independent Director on the board of two companies associated with the Tata group and has previously served on the board of a Wealth management and securities trading company. She is on the Advisory committee of HelpAge India, a large national NGO.

She is passionate about supporting girl child education and is a committed advocate for the cause of Gender diversity and enhancing women’s representation in Corporate India. She strongly believes in the importance of giving back to society and the nation.

Ms Nayyar is an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College USA and holds a B.A. Economics (Hons) degree from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi.
