Donald Fernandes

Donald Fernandes has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Donald started their career as a Research Associate at IISc in 2005 and then moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard (IPG RnD) in 2006. After working there for seven years, they joined IINCORE Software Systems Pvt Ltd in 2013 as the Executive Director, Engineering and Business Development. At IINCORE, they successfully led a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers and oversaw business development activities, while also maintaining the company's P&L. In 2017, Donald founded IINCORE Labs Inc, where they served as the Principal Product Consultant and Founder. In this role, they were responsible for the growth and strategy of the business, identifying and nurturing opportunities, and developing strategic partnerships. Under their leadership, IINCORE Labs achieved significant revenue growth, generating over $2M USD in total revenue.

Donald Fernandes earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2001 and 2005. Donald then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Donald Fernandes has obtained several certifications. These include a PMI-ACP certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2018, a PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in November 2022, and a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2023. Donald has also attained a Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance and an IBM Blockchain Essentials certification from IBM, although the exact dates of completion for these two certifications are not provided.
