Iratxe MacIas

Iratxe Macias is a Senior Scientist at Biocruces Bizkaia Instituto Investigación Sanitaria, specializing in stem cells, cellular therapy, and bone diseases, with expertise in scientific writing and teamwork. Previously, Iratxe served as a Research Scientist at CIC bioGUNE, focusing on molecular biology, rare diseases, and drug discovery, as well as a Junior Scientist working on cancer metabolism and cell culture. Iratxe's career began as an Assistant Scientist at UPV/EHU, where responsibilities included animal and energetic physiology. Iratxe holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine and obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
