Gaurav Srivastava

Gaurav Srivastava is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where Gaurav has held various leadership roles including Dean of Campus Development and Associate Dean of Campus Management since December 2017. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of Career Development Services at the same institution from May 2013 to February 2020. Gaurav's research expertise encompasses modeling energetic materials using generalized finite element methods, which was honed during a postdoctoral role at the University of Notre Dame from June 2011 to December 2012. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where Gaurav also earned an M.S., complemented by a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University.
