Carlos Malita is an experienced agricultural and business development consultant with a significant background in project management. From April 2016 to April 2023, Carlos served as the TAAT Country Engagement Officer and Southern Africa Regional Coordinator at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), focusing on the implementation of Technologies for African Agricultural Transformation (TAAT) within the Cabinda Province Agriculture Value Chains Development Project, a major initiative aimed at enhancing food security in Angola. Prior to this, from July 2011 to April 2016, Carlos was a Markets Systems Change Manager and Implementation Lead at DAI, further enriching expertise in agricultural development and project management.
