Murni Mahmud

Murni Mahmud has extensive experience in academia and industry, serving at IIUM since June 2000 in various roles including Dean of the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology, Professor, and Associate Professor, among others. Prior to this, Murni worked at ExxonMobil from April 1993 to June 2000 as a Project System Analyst, contributing to critical systems including Personnel Information Systems and the Year 2000 (Y2K) project. Murni holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Informatics focusing on Human Computer Interaction from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University. Early education includes institutions such as MARA Junior Science College and Sekolah Menengah Sultan Abdul Aziz.
