Angela Ng

Angela Ng has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Angela began their career as an Assurance Senior at Arthur Andersen & Co, where they worked from 1996 to 1999. Angela then joined MediaRing Ltd as a Finance Manager, responsible for global reporting, consolidation, financial analysis, and budgeting. Angela also handled due diligence for potential investment deals. After that, Angela ventured into entrepreneurship and became a Franchisee of two Subway sandwich stores, successfully running the business for five years. Following their entrepreneurial stint, they joined Biosensors International as Vice-President of Corporate Finance, playing a key role in the company's listing on the Stock Exchange of Singapore and overseeing acquisitions and tax planning. Angela also worked temporarily as a Consultant at Biosensors International in 2012, managing adhoc projects for the Chairman's Office. Additionally, Angela has experience in the public sector, having served as a Programme Budget Officer at the United Nations, where they were part of the team responsible for proposing and planning budgets across various UN programs. Angela's dedication to social impact led their to join the Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) and its sister entity, the IIX Foundation, where they held roles as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Strategic Planning & Finance. At IIX, Angela contributed to the transformation of the financial system to prioritize women, the environment, and underserved communities, through initiatives such as Impact Partners, Women's Livelihood Bond™ Series, and sustainable investing market building. Overall, Angela Ng's work experience reflects their expertise in finance, entrepreneurship, and social impact, as well as their commitment to driving positive change.

Angela Ng completed their Bachelor of Accountancy (Honors) degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied Accountancy from 1993 to 1996. Angela obtained the certifications of Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) in 2013 and Certified Public Accountant from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore in 1998. Angela also holds an additional certification called "The Orange Bond Pledge" from Impact Investment Exchange (IIX) in 2022. Angela Ng has received the ISCA 20 Years Membership Milestone Badge, although the year of obtaining it is not specified.
