Mike Lesko

Mike Lesko currently serves as the owner of MCL Consulting, LLC, providing expertise in criminal justice information systems since October 2022. Previously, Mike held the position of Sr. Director of Government Technology and Services at NEC Corporation of America from March 2021 to October 2022. Mike's extensive career with the Texas Department of Public Safety spanned nearly three decades, during which time Mike progressed from Deputy Assistant Director to Assistant Director of the Law Enforcement Support Division, and finally to Chief of the division until March 2021. Mike also contributed to national discussions on criminal justice policy as Chair of the FBI CJIS Advisory Policy Board from January 2018 to December 2020 and as Chair of the FBI CJIS APB Identification Services Subcommittee from January 2010 to December 2018. In addition, Mike represented Texas on the SEARCH organization from 2003 until December 2020. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
