Matthew Hale

Matthew Hale currently serves as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Ikarian Capital LLC since July 2025. Previously, Matthew held various compliance roles at TPG from September 2022 to July 2025, including Principal, Director, and Senior Manager. Prior to TPG, Matthew worked at Goldman Sachs from December 2014 to September 2022 as a Vice President across multiple divisions, focusing on compliance in the Investment Bank, Consumer Financial Crime, and Realty Management sectors. Matthew began the legal career as an Associate Attorney at Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner and Engel, LLP from July 2011 to November 2014. Matthew holds a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics/Letters and Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma.
