Dr. David Blass

Dr. David Blass is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and advisory roles within the industrial and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Abteilungsdirektor for ESG- & Transformation-Advisory and Industrials & Automotive at IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG since April 2020, Dr. Blass previously held the position of Senior Application Engineer at 3M from September 2018 to April 2020. Prior to this, Dr. Blass was the Abteilungsleiter for Composites & e-Mobility and a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Institute for Joining and Welding Technology at Technische Universität Braunschweig from September 2013 to September 2018. Dr. Blass holds a Dr.-Ing. degree in Production Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig, with additional studies at EPFL from 2011 to 2012.
