Dr. Klaus Bauknecht

Dr. Klaus Bauknecht has extensive experience in various roles as a Chief Economist and Director. Dr. Klaus started their career at ING Barings in 1999, where they served as Chief Economist until 2003. Dr. Klaus then joined the National Treasury of South Africa as a Director in 2003. In 2004, Dr. Bauknecht joined IKB as Chief Economist, where they currently hold this position.

Dr. Klaus Bauknecht earned their Ph.D. in Economics/Econometrics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, where they studied from 1989 to 1994.
