Wadie Assal

Wadie Assal is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in software engineering and data science. At IKEA, Wadie holds the position of Engineering Manager, while previously at True B.V., Wadie served as both Engineering Manager for the Platform and Data Scientist. Wadie has also worked at NEP Broadcast Services The Netherlands, contributing as both a Software Engineer in Graphics and a Software Engineer & Linux Systems Engineer. Earlier roles include Linux Systems Engineer at Leiden University and Unix Systems Engineer and Support Engineer at TransIP. Wadie holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Information Technology from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
