Naiara Rodriguez-Florez

Naiara Rodriguez-Florez is an accomplished biomedical engineer and researcher with extensive experience in academia and clinical settings. Currently serving as an Ikerbasque Research Fellow at Ikerbasque since November 2019 and as a lecturer at Tecnun - Universidad de Navarra since May 2019, Naiara previously held lecturer positions at Mondragon Unibertsitatea (September 2017 - May 2019) and completed a post-doctoral research associate role at the UCL GOS Institute of Child Health & Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (May 2015 - August 2017), focusing on craniofacial surgery improvement. Naiara earned a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London, where the research concentrated on the mechanics of bone at micro- and nano-scales, complemented by a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Navarra. Additionally, Naiara has completed visiting studies at the University of Cambridge and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
