Ikerbasque
Paolo Bonifazi is a Tenured Ikerbasque Researcher at Ikerbasque since August 2019 and has also been a Tenure Track researcher at the Biocruces Health Research Institute since July 2015, focusing on multi-scale brain circuitries with an emphasis on epilepsy. Prior to these roles, Paolo Bonifazi served as a Research Associate and Senior Researcher at Tel Aviv University from May 2010 to June 2015, where involvement included leading the Italy-Israel Joint Laboratory in Neuroscience and participating in the EU "BRAINBOW" project. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati di Trieste and several postdoctoral fellowships in Neurobiology and Neurosciences at prestigious institutions.
