Abdullah al Omar

Abdullah Al Omar is a skilled Machine Learning Researcher at Ikigai since February 2024, previously serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from May 2019 to January 2024. Abdullah gained valuable experience as a Senior Data Scientist at IBM for a brief period in the summer of 2021 and worked as a Research Specialist at the Center for Complex Engineering Systems from September 2016 to June 2021. Abdullah also completed an internship at KAUST in mid-2015. Abdullah's academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, as well as a Master's degree in Computation for Design and Optimization from MIT. Abdullah earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University, where studies were completed from 2011 to 2016.
