Gerd Benzmüller

Gerd Benzmüller has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 2020. He is a partner in Elektro Benzmüller GmbH & Co.KG in Saarburg (50 employees). He founded his craft business in 1996 after successfully passing the master craftsman's examination at the state master school in Saarbrücken.

Furthermore, he is district master craftsman and chairman district master craftsman at the state level in Rhineland-Palatinate, a member of the plenary assembly and the board of the Trier Chamber of Crafts, and a publicly appointed and sworn expert for the electrical engineering trade at the Trier Chamber of Crafts.

For over 30 years he has also been active as a local politician in the local council, association council, and district council. In addition, he has been the mayor of his hometown of Ockfen for 6 years. Since 2012 he has worked as an honorary judge at the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate and since 2020 at the Trier Administrative Court. He has been a firefighter in Ockfen for 30 years and has also been a youth fire chief for the Saarburg community for many years.
