Justin Atienza

Justin Atienza serves as the VP of Engineering for Platform at IKS Health, where responsibilities include defining technical strategy for autonomous chart note and medical coding services, ensuring AI-driven product reliability in clinical settings, and leading a high-performing engineering organization. Prior to this role, Atienza worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Viasat and spent over five years at Robin Healthcare, initially as Staff Software Engineer Lead and eventually as Engineering Manager, where significant contributions included the development of the Robin Assistant device platform. Experience also includes tenure as a Senior Software Engineer at Cubic Corporation, focusing on UAV projects, and an early career as a Computer Sales Supervisor at Best Buy. Atienza holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture-based Enterprise Systems Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Diego State University.
