Sameer Afzal Farooqi

Sameer Afzal Farooqi has over 8 years of work experience. In 2020, they joined Ilara Health as Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer (COO). From 2018 to 2020, they were employed at Daraz, where they held the roles of Global Head of Marketplace and Regional Manager. From 2017 to 2018, they worked at Careem as Country Growth and Performance Manager and City Growth Operations Manager. From 2012 to 2017, they were employed at S&P Global Market Intelligence, where they held the roles of Senior Analyst (Media & Comm/TMT) and Analyst (Media & Comm/TMT).

Sameer Afzal Farooqi obtained their BSc Honors in Economics and Political Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences between 2008 and 2012. Sameer Afzal then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Analytics and Marketing from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business between 2015 and 2017.
