Melissa has held key roles such as Vice President at ILC Dover, Senior Director at Avantor, and Executive Director at PCI Pharma Services. Melissa has also worked at GlaxoSmithKline, Centocor, and Wyeth BioPharma, contributing to scientific engagement, compliance advisory, and quality analysis.

Melissa Ertl completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology at Juniata College from 1998 to 2002. Melissa further pursued their MBA in Business at Penn State University from 2004 to 2006.
