Pierre Ravier currently serves as the Directeur général adjoint and Directeur des mobilités de surface at Île-de-France Mobilités since November 2017, focusing on the operation of tramway, bus, and coach networks in the Île-de-France region, as well as enhancing transportation services in collaboration with local authorities and managing the transition to energy-efficient bus networks. Prior to this role, Pierre Ravier held the position of Directeur de l'accès au réseau at the Autorité de régulation des activités ferroviaires et routières (Arafer) from June 2011 to October 2017, overseeing access conditions to France's railway infrastructure. In the Region Rhône-Alpes from September 2003 to May 2011, Pierre Ravier was the Directeur des transports, where implementation of regional transport policies was a key responsibility, along with leading a team managing regional collective transport services. Additionally, Pierre Ravier was responsible for the service of road investments at DDE de Loire-Atlantique from July 1999 to August 2003, managing various projects related to national road investments.
