Erika O'Rourke-Lewis

Erika O'Rourke-Lewis has a strong background in education and leadership roles. Erika is currently serving as a School Principal at iLearn Schools since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Paterson Arts and Science Charter School from June 2019 to August 2022 as an Assistant Director of Operations. Before that, they were a District ELA Coach at Bergen Arts and Science Charter School from November 2018 to June 2019. Erika also has experience as a Dean of Students and Mentor Teacher at Brooklyn Ascend Middle School from July 2017 to June 2018, as well as a Mentor Teacher at New Hope Academy Charter School from July 2014 to August 2016, where they were also part of the Leadership Team. Erika started their career as a Social Studies Teacher at NYC Department of Education, where they worked from 2002 to 2012. Additionally, Erika has experience as a Center Director at Huntington Learning Center from April 2012 to July 2014.

Erika O'Rourke-Lewis earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Wagner College between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they also obtained a MSED in Secondary Education and Teaching from Wagner College from 2002 to 2004.
