Mehmet A. is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in human rights advocacy and journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Officer at ILGA-Europe since March 2018, Mehmet A. previously held the Communications Officer position at the same organization. Prior roles include Project Assistant at the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey and General Coordinator at SPoD, where expertise in international relations was also developed. Early career experience includes internships as a Reporter at Agos Newspaper and as an Editor at Açık Radyo. Mehmet A. holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Boğaziçi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Galatasaray Üniversitesi.
