Crystal Hendricks (she/her) is a queer intersex feminist womxn. She is a human rights defender who has been at the forefront of advocating for policy change for intersex people in Africa, particularly South Africa.
Crystal is the Intersex Programme Officer at Iranti, a regional organization based in South Africa, and the acting administrator for Intersex South Africa. Crystal is also a Rainbow Advocacy fellowship scholar. She is the current Chair of the ILGA World Intersex Steering Committee and an Advisory Board member of the Intersex Human Rights Fund.
Her desire to see intersex people freely exercising their rights and freedoms drives her to work tirelessly to ensure that intersex issues are leading edge of policy discussions, and that intersex people are at the helm of driving such conversations.
