Sam Michalska

Sam Michalska has a wealth of work experience in the beauty industry. In 2010, they began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at SEPHORA in various roles, including Education Lead, Skin Care Lead, Manager of Artistry and Color, and Artistry and Color Specialist. From 2013 to 2017, they were employed by Kendo Brands, Inc. as a Trainer. During this time, they were responsible for training and managing 20 Sephora locations in the Midwest. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty as a Director of Field Education and Pro Artistry, Senior Education and Development Manager, and Regional Education and Events Manager. Currently, they are employed by ILIA Beauty as the Executive Director of Global Education.

Sam Michalska has a background in Slavic Languages and Literature, Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies, and Polish Language and Literature. Sam obtained an M.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and a B.A. from the same university in 2009. Sam also studied Polish Language and Literature at Jagiellonian University.
