Graeme Purdy

Graeme Purdy has over two decades of leadership experience in the technology and energy sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Ilika plc since May 2004, Graeme has been instrumental in advancing solid state battery technology, particularly through the development of innovative miniature batteries for wireless devices. In addition to this role, Graeme holds the position of Non-Executive Director at Bacanora Lithium Limited since April 2020. Previous professional experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Avantium Technologies BV from May 2000 to April 2004 and as a Process Engineer at Shell International from September 1988 to August 1999. Graeme Purdy holds an MBA from INSEAD (1999-2000) and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge (1984-1988).
