Nicola Andreis

Nicola Andreis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nicola began their career in 1997 as a Controller in the Planning & Management Control Department at Banca Popolare di Verona Bsgsp. Nicola then moved to Banca Popolare and held various roles within the Risk Department, including Head of Financial Risk and Risk Integration Office, Head of Risk Integration Unit, and Financial Risk Manager. After that, Nicola joined Banco Desio as the Head of AIRB Project in the Risk Management Department. Nicola later worked at Cedacri as the Head of Pooled AIRB Models Development and Validation Unit. Following this, they returned to Banco Desio as the Head of Internal Validation and AIRB Governance Unit. Currently, Nicola is the Head of Risk Strategy & Group Controls at illimity.

Nicola Andreis completed a Master's degree in Economics from the Università degli Studi di Verona, graduating with a final mark of 110 out of 110 cum laude. Nicola obtained an ABI Banking & Financial Diploma, specializing in banking intermediation, and received an excellent qualification for it. In high school, they obtained a certificate in Accounting. Recently, they earned a Climate Risks Academy Certificate from the European University Institute, focusing on ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) studies.
