Sinan Hashim is currently a Research Assistant at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where involvement began in May 2022. Sinan is also the Student Founder of the Salaam Middle East North Africa (MENA) Cultural Center. At Cook County Health, Sinan serves as a Clinical Research Assistant, a role taken on in May 2023. Additionally, Sinan holds leadership positions as President of the Student Initiative and as a volunteer in both the Pharmacy and Clinical Operations at Avicenna Community Health Center since May 2022. Sinan is a Medical Screener with the Illini Medical Screening Society and actively participates as a VisionSwim Team Member with MedLaunch UIUC, starting in September 2023. Sinan's educational journey includes studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2021 to 2025, following graduation from Niles West High School in 2021.
